The short version
MenoStride keeps everything you log on your own device, in your browser's storage. There is no account, no server database, no analytics and no advertising. We cannot see your data.
What MenoStride stores, and where
Your answers during setup, your goal and the daily habits you tick, your medicines and doses, daily logs (sleep, energy, aches, hot flashes, bleeding, exercise), races and settings. All of it is saved only in this browser on this device.
When anything leaves your device
Only when you tap one of these:
- Add to Google Calendar opens Google Calendar with a reminder name and time, so Google receives that reminder.
- Find a pharmacy opens Google Maps with the first three characters of your postal code.
- Copy or share your prescriber summary: it goes wherever you choose to paste or send it.
- Back up to a file saves a file to your device. Where you keep that file is up to you. It is not encrypted, so treat it like a health record.
The website host (Vercel) receives standard technical request data, like IP address and browser type, when your browser loads the app. It never receives your logs.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your browser can delete website data if you clear it, and Safari on iPhone may remove it if you don't open MenoStride for several weeks. Adding MenoStride to your Home Screen and making regular backups (More โ Your data) protects you. You can delete everything at any time with More โ Your data โ Delete all my data.
Not medical advice
MenoStride is a personal log. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, and it never tells you to start, stop or change a medicine or dose. Talk to your prescriber or pharmacist. In an emergency, call 911.
